Good Morning Gamers,
Thursday, February 27 was Pokemon day and we saw some new information about Pokemon Legends: Z-A, the second installment in the Legends series. Pokemon Legends: Arceus was a breath of fresh air in the Pokemon game formula and we hope Z-A will finally be the Pokemon game that brings about world peace, like they’ve been promising for a couple of decades now.
We also have a couple of Pokemon events in North County that are worth mentioning, but before we get to calling out those events, you can view the full list of gaming events for the week here.
Knowhere Games - Pokemon Day sales (2/28, 3/2 & 3/3)
Knowhere Games in San Marcos is having several great Pokemon TCG deals up until 3/3. They have gifts if you spend $10 on Pokemon items and you’ll be entered into a special drawing if you spend at least $15.
Not only that, they’ll have Pokemon TCG experts in the store to teach you how to play if you’re interested. See the instagram post below for full details:
On-Board Gaming Teaches Pokemon TCG at Cultured Vibe 2/28
The guys from On-Board Gaming are leaving the comfort of their storefront in Escondido to teach Pokmeon TCG at the brand new indoor expo, Cultured Vibe, at the Escondido Mall. The event only costs $5 and you’ll finally learn how to play the game that utilizes all that shiny cardboard you’ve been collecting since your childhood.
Boardgames and Booch on 3/5
The Let’s Play A Game Foundation is back at Local Roots Kombucha for their monthly Boardgames and Booch event in Vista, Ca. Its a free event and there’s always a good group that shows up. Bring your favorite game to share or play one of the many that the Let’s Play A Game Foundation provides.
Saturday Strikes Pinball Tournament at Eppig Brewing on 3/1
The first Saturday of the month is the San Diego Pinball Club’s tournament at Eppig Brewing in Vista, Ca. This event has steadily been growing since it started late last year and they had over 40 participants last month. The pinball renaissance is here and you should grab a beer and join in. Not to mention the fantastic Lost Abbey brewery’s vista location is now located within the Eppig Brewery, so that’s all the more reason to go.
That’s all the highlights for this week. We didn’t event get to mention that the One Punch Man pre-release for Union Arena is happening this weekend to.
